Overview
The WÖHWA Belt Scale is a feed rate measuring assembly that can be fitted under a belt conveyor on a new installation, retrofitted to an existing belt conveyor, or integrated into a belt feeder to create a weigh belt feeder. The design is optimised to be able to retrofit the unit on an existing belt conveyor by removing existing idlers and replacing them with the belt scale. The support beams are telescopic and adjustable in length to fit existing belt conveyor widths. Mass sensing is done using a single load cell that supports the belt conveyor idler assembly.
