Overview
Many industrial processes require accurate weighing of products in a batch process. This includes the mixing of different powders or granular material as well as single product batches. These batches need to be produced in a minimum time frame but at a high accuracy and repeatability. Often speed changes on the feed equipment at the end as the batch nears its setpoint is sufficient. Where higher accuracy is required, a combination of feed equipment may be necessary for coarse and very fine feed control. Specialised dual barrel dosing screws can also be used for these applications.
